JOAN VIRDEN IS A LONG TIME RESIDENT OF RENO, NEVADA WHERE THIS STORY TAKES PLACE She has been a breeder of Arabian horses for 30 years. She has written articles for Bowhunter Magazine from her experiences hunting in the western mountains of Utah and Colorado. She has worked for many years as an Executive Secretary and writes in her spare time. This is her first novel.
